NEW BUSINESS:
New Members: Discussion was held about ways to interest new members to SVP. One, newspaper announcement. Kathy Livingston has template for local paper should someone want to handle. Two, possible flyers or SVP cards (Ruey Schell has made cards with both SVP & PDG on them) to set out at shows, around the area and upcoming Schoharie Library Quilt/Flower show. Getting speakers to attract quilters per Deb Steup. Possibly setting up a "Outside Activities Committee" for handling this task. Diane Pindar working on bus trips to quilt show. Deb Steup was inquiring about an overnight bus trip to a Maine quilt show (interested let Deb know). Kathy Livingston suggested having a speaker thru Zoom to be held at church hall.
