Secretary Report: read and approved by Emily and seconded by Ron all approved

Treasurer Report: checking balance $323.88 savings account balance $1561.02 motion to approve by Joan and seconded by Marlene all approved

Old Business:
EQF report by Kathy Livingston our new representative. Next quilt show will be sometime early April 2020. They are just in planning phase right now.
​
Hall of Fame report by Betsy Macomber they are revising judging forms and criteria
​
New Business: Ginny Schaum is looking for anyone interested in making a snowman for the Miracle on Main Street event on Dec. 7. Anyone wishing to help meet at the church on Nov 26.
​

Program Committee: Dec. pillow cases are due. Pot luck dinner for our Christmas meeting. Colleen will again supply the dinnerware. Water and coffee will be supplied.
Kathy did update on Susan B Anthony challenge. If interested maybe a Saturday workshop.

Show and Tell: Stephanie L- Christmas ornaments, Martha snowman table runner and BOM, Ron a beautiful bible block quilt and BOM, Sue S tree skirt, Colleen
2 I spy quilts, Emily bat bandannas, and BOM, Joan Christmas ornaments, Nanette fish fabric, Marlene table toppers for pies, Barbara BOM and blue and white for a little boy, Kathy a wall hanging to be raffled off at her church, Sharon N quilt her grandmother started. Sharon Vrooman quilted it for her., Sharon V a miniature done with the first BOM block.

Program by Betsy Macomber - demonstration on one block wonder quilt pattern a workshop is planned for March or April for those interested.

SVP - December 11, 2018 Meeting
Preliminary Minutes (pending approval):
Welcome guest Willie Karlou

A pot luck dinner was enjoyed by all. Many good cooks in our guild. After stuffing ourselves, meeting was opened by President Vrooman.
​
Officers report:
Secretaries REVISED Report: motion to accept Ron seconded by Betsy all approved
Treasurers report: $503.80 in checking and $1551.02 in savings total of $2064.90 motion to approve by Betsy and seconded by Joan all approved

Old Business : There was a problem with the check from Hall of Fame. Check will be re sent
Report on snowman made by some of our members for Miracle on Main Street. Ginny wanted to thank everyone who participated, Barbara Rau, Kathy Livingston,Sharon Vrooman, and Ron for being the cutter. Ginny was contacted about auctioning off the snowman with proceeds to go to the local food pantry. All agreed it was a good idea. Mrs. K Kitchen won first prize.
Sharon reminded everyone that batting was available for your charity quilts due in April. It is upstairs at the church.
2020 Project: Kathy said that she hoped to send in finished blocks a soon as possible. Anyone needing help should contact Kathy.

New Business: Willie Karlou came as a representative of the Middleburgh Rod and Gun Club looking for volunteers to make a hanging sleeve for a quilt make in honor of Larry Strack that will be hung in the Rod and Gun club. Ron said he will put a sleeve on the quilt.
​
Quilt and Craft shows None

Reminder that The Patchworks in Windham will be holding their big Jan. sale, date to be announced.
Name tag drawing: Ron won and now there is no excuse not to get organized

Program committee: There were 48 pillowcases donated to be given to Catholic Charities. Stephanie L. will deliver them.

Show and Tell Ron BOM, Ginny BOM, Emily BOM, Betsy BOM mystery design ,Sandi unfinished projects given to her by others, Joan BOM and pink baby quilt for her niece, Cheryl a beautiful snowflake, Kathy a quilt made from the blocks given to her as outgoing president. Kathy said that the pattern was TESSELATED. Perhaps Kathy can do a program using this idea, Sharon V BOM and her 2020 block.
