Meeting was called to order with no guests present

Officers' reports
There were no secretary minutes due to Colleen being ill
Treasurers report: $92.44 in checking and $762.97 in savings account total of $855.41
Ruey made a motion to accept and Edna seconded. Motion passed.
Historian: Stephanie said she had posted more pictures on our web site.

Name tag drawing : Sandi Johnson got the goody bag
​
Hall of fame:
Kathy said they will be meeting on May 9 in Arksville. Anyone can attend. She said they are hoping to have a quilt show in the fall in conjunction with cauliflower festival. Their annual picnic will be in July.
Old Business:
Ginny said the quilt trail will be celebrating their anniversary on Sept. 25
Charity quilts are due at April's meeting
We have batting upstairs if anyone needs it for their charity quilts. See Ron and give him your quilt measurements and he will cut it for you.

New Business:
The Town of Knox is having a fancy work and needle work at their bi-centennial on April 30 10 t0 4. For more information go Knox Historical Society.org.
We discussed having class in May. It was decided to have a potpourri day with 4 different stations.: Paper piecing, salvage quilting, sit and sew, and fidget quilts. It will be May 21 from 10 to 2 at the church.
New round robin row is flying geese.
Next meeting will be movie night with slides that Joan Youmans has. Popcorn, candy and drinks will be available.
Show and tell:
Ruey and Stephanie both showed their challenge quilts, Sharon Vrooman showed a four patch made with flannels, Debra showed her presidents challenge from the Cairo guild, Betty Pillsbury showed another beautiful crazy piece, Julia showed her Christmas angel

Program:
Kathy Livingston gave a presentation on tessellating designs. Very interesting and some of us have done this without realizing it, and now know the origin of this design. Thanks Kathy

April Meeting Minutes
Meeting was called to order with no guests. There were 18 members present.
Officers Reports
Secretary report: Sent via email anyone not receiving them let Diane know, Emily made a motion to accept Joan seconded, approved
Treasurers Report: checking account $92.44 savings account 703.03 total $55.47 Barb made a motion to accept Joan seconded, approved

HOF Fall quilt show is scheduled for Sept. 17 -18 at the Roxbury art center more info to come
Old Business: The Cairo quild went to Fenimore quilt show and enjoyed it.
Reminder May 21 is SVP sit-N-Sew at church 10 to 3
New Business: May meeting will be round table with shop owners. Bringa list of questions you have.

Program: Joan Youmans was given slides from 1986 quilt shows from Anne Doerge a long-time member of SVP. Very interesting seeing all the quilts displayed.
Show and Tell
collections of donation quilts- there were 36 quilts donated all were beautiful, and unique and very much appreciated by Catholic charities.
Popcorn and candy was a special treat from our president
