Opening - welcome - no guests

Business Meeting:

 

          Officer Reports:

                   Pres/V.Pres - announce that secretary Karen Frankel has resigned

                             We will continue with meeting volunteers                       

                   Treasurer - balance $1545.91  motion to accept by Joan Youmans

                             Second by Sandie Johnson - so passed

                   Secretary - report accepted as sent via e-mail to members

 

          Old Business:

                   Library Banners - on hold until September

                   EQF Report - Collen reported monies pending all bills to be met

                   Library Show - report on how well it was received and pictures are

                             On the Library and SVP websites

                   HOF - highlights of the Spring Meeting minutes

                              Update on the quilt show Sept 22-23, Roxbury - application forms

                                are available

                              HOF Picnic - any guild member of a HOF guild can attend

                                      CD Lane Park, Maplecrest, NY  July 9th

                                      Bring something to pass, own place setting & drink

                                      Lottery Patriotic Blocks, Raffle baskets, 4-station demos               

          Quilt Shows:

 

                   Sue Hess shared:

                                      Lansing Manor is displaying antique quilts

                                      From the Zaduck Pratt Museum, Prattsville

                             Gilboa Museum open Sat & Sun noon-4”40

                                      Contemporary Quilt Exhibit  now until Aug 7th

                                      Vintage Quilts of Gilboa - Aug 11th-17th

                   Lily Park Festival, Schoharie  July 14th - free admission

                   DAR Heritage Show, Schoharie July 28th - free admission

 

          New Business:

 

                   Program Committee - surveys passed out for suggestions to fill next year

                             Kathy showed sample of the Susan B Anthony 2020 Challenge

                             To possibly be done over the summer break or Saturday class

                   Founding guild member and HOF inductee, Arlene Vrooman, is having

                             A retirement sale of all her quilting items  July 4th-8th  10am-5pm
