OLD BUSINESS:
Empire Quilt Fest (EQF) Update: Betsy Macomber said zoom meeting was good. If you cannot drop your quilt(s) at the Fulton-Montgomery College, they can be dropped off Saturday (4/18) the week before show to Sharon/Arlene Vrooman's house. Quilts can also be dropped off at the Cobleskill Catholic Church the Saturday (4/18) before EQF Show from 11AM till 1PM. Betsy will pick up quilts from these locations the Tuesday (4/21) before show and she will deliver them to college. And, if you are unable to pick up your quilt after show, Betsy has graciously offered to bring them back for you BUT she will need your "receipt slip for pick-up". Note that quilts need 6" sleeve to be hung. Deadline to enter quilts is February 17. Kathy Livingston said there will be 16-17 vendors at the show. Betsy and Kathy did visit the college venue; where new floors were noted (floors are usually covered before show setup).

EQF Vendor Ribbons: Kathy Livingston discussed materials needed for the vendor ribbons should you choose to stay after March meeting to assemble together. She also mentioned 9 yo-yo also need to be made. Kathy ordered and received a packet of styrofoam balls and a package of rainbow grosgrain ribbon(for the tails should you choose to use). She said you could take home a ball today to work on (cutting ball in half & start assembling with 50 2"x2" fabrics using fabric glue).

Saturday Workshop: Will be held Saturday, May 16, 2026; 10AM till 2PM. Planned are 2 demo's at first. Kathy to demo the Folded Star Round Table Topper (12" square center, five rounds of 4" prairie points). Betsy did take guild members orders for the interface template to make this topper. Ron will show demo on Disappearing 9-Patch. Materials needed for each will be handed out by Kathy and Ron before workshop. Up to you which one you would like to work on at this workshop.
NEW BUSINESS:
Schoharie Free Library: The library has again asked if SVP would want to participate with the Garden Club on June 17 to do an exhibit there. Quilts will be displayed from June 1 through 17 for viewing. The Garden Club will match their floral display to quilts and they will be displayed a few days before the 17th. Medium and small quilts are requested along with any other quilt article. Noted: A vinyl should be placed over quilted table toppers during the "tea session" to protect them. Members unanimously voted "yes" to do this event.

Upcoming Quilt Shows: Fennimore Quilt Club Show, February 7-22 at the Cooperstown Art Association, 22 Main Street, Cooperstown (11-4 daily; 1-4 Sunday).
