SVP OCTOBER  9, 2018 MINUTES 

 

Welcome new member Deb Gibbons

 

Secretary Report: There were two corrections.

The spelling of Betsy Macombers name, and the amount paid to the church should say $500.00 not $250. After corrections were noted the minutes were approved by Emily and seconded by Joan

 

Treasurer Report:

final balance $1884.90 motion to approve Joan seconded Ginny approved

 

Historian: Stephanie said new photos posted to the web site

 

Old Business: Kathy said she would like anyone doing a block for Susan B Anthony project next month.

Library banners were well received by library staff. Sharon Vrooman also donated a small quilt made from the left over blocks.

Reminder dues are $20. and due by Nov. meeting

Ginny thanked all those who participated in airing of the quilts.

 

New Business: Kathy will be attending the first meeting for the Empire Quiltfest. Anyone wishing to join her let her know. Block of the month was handed out.

A check for $165. from the proceeds of the Hall of Fame quilt show was given to the animal shelter of Schoharie County

This the last year of two year term for officers of Hall of Fame anyone interested contact Sharon Vrooman.
